Choosing a school for your child /children is a really important decision; having faith in the school environment you choose for your child is a critical part of the home – school partnership.

You’re very welcome to come for a tour and to have a chat with us about how we can support your child / children in their academic and their interpersonal development.

We have developed a Virtual School Tour and we invite you to contact the school to arrange an enrolment tour and conversation with the School Principal.

We have a four-visit program in Term 4 each year which supports our new students of all ages (and their mums and dads!) to learn about Exford and to feel confident about starting school.  We start with a Play Date before the Transition Program begins, just to start our Preps on their way!

We aim for all children to meet their next year’s teacher and to develop a group of friends. We hold information sessions for parents and help you with organising for the school start.

We invite you to contact the school Office to arrange a school tour.

School Catchment Policy

As of Wednesday 8 May 2013, Exford PS School Council implemented the enrolment policy that all new families who wish to enrol their children must live within the enrolment boundary as determined by the DET, with the exception of the siblings of currently enrolled students who reside outside the enrolment boundary. This policy is effective immediately. Our enrolment zone includes Exford and parts of Eynesbury, Weir Views and Strathtulloh and Parwan. Due to our enrolment capacity, we have regional approval to accept children who live just out of our enrolment zone.

We ask that families intending to enroll at Exford Primary School for the 2023 school year please contact us for an enrolment tour and to collect enrolment forms.

We are beginning to plan for our 2023 school program and ask families planning on coming to Exford PS to contact us as soon as possible so that we can include them in our planning.  We also need accurate student numbers in order to provide the correct number of classes, teachers and classrooms for 2023 and beyond.

We would like to include your children in our Transition Program in Term 4, which we can only offer to enrolled children. We hold a four visit program for our Preps, with parent information sessions held at the same time.

We also hold a four visit program for our Year 1-6 new students, where the children are welcome to spend four days in our classrooms to help them make friends and settle in, ready for their start at Exford PS.

We look forward to welcoming new children and families into our school community.

Please visit the Find my School website to see what your catchment zone you fall into.
