Each year Exford holds a concert at the end of Term 4. All children participate in this event and this concert celebrates the Grade 6 students who are graduating from Exford PS, our Arts program and also recognises Christmas as a very special time of year for our children.

Our students and their families are always excited when a very special visitor all dressed in red makes an appearance!

Each class presents two items, a class performance and a Christmas Carol. Our students and our staff work together to put our concert together and the children are involved in designing and creating the backdrops. Our senior students also prepare an Auslan item for our concert and spend much time practising their signing.

A number of scholarships and awards are presented on this evening, including the Lalor award, presented by the Office of the Federal Member for Education, Julia Gillard. The other awards are presented each year by families who have a close affiliation with the school. The support from the Gates, Rees and McFadden families is gratefully acknowledged.
